The Merseyside Collective Switch is a not-for-profit partnership between Energy Projects Plus, Halton Council, Knowsley Council, Liverpool City Council, Sefton Council, St Helens Council, Wirral Council and Virdis.

Energy Projects Plus

Energy Projects Plus is a registered environmental charity that has provided free and impartial energy advice across Merseyside for over 20 years. We deliver front-line projects that include advice, awareness raising and training and education work. We also promote and manage local home energy schemes which can provide grants for energy efficiency, heating and renewable measures.

Energy Projects Plus has helped to design and set up the Merseyside Collective Switch because we believe that collective energy switching is an exciting new way to help the people of Merseyside save money on their energy bills. We want to help as many people as we can to switch together and save together!

Local Authority Partners

The Merseyside Collective Switch is supported by Halton Council, Knowsley Council, Liverpool City Council, Sefton Council, St Helens Council and Wirral Council. Liverpool City Region Local Authorities have a strong history in the support of collaborative initiatives to help householders across the City Region. The Merseyside Collective Switch will give the residents of the Liverpool City Region a chance to join together to save money on their energy bills.

energyhelpline

energyhelpline is our switching partner. They will provide comparisons of electricity and gas offers already in the market and will be our agent to help us try to negotiate a good collective deal from energy suppliers.

They will also assist individual customers in the process of switching once the Merseyside Collective Switch deals are in place. energyhelpline is fully accredited to the Consumer Focus Confidence Code to compare energy for domestic consumers.
