How Does it Work?

Merseyside Collective Switch

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…

1. Register

You can register for the Collective Switch at any time. We will be in touch when the offers are available. By registering you are helping to give weight to the scheme so our switching partner, energyhelpine is in a better position to negotiate deals from suppliers.

2. Let us do the hard work for you

When the registration period ends, our switching partner, energyhelpine, will invite energy suppliers to offer a deal for the collective switch.

This is an opportunity for the energy companies to get new customers so they compete to offer the best deal. They determine their offer based on the number of participants, so the more people who sign up to the collective switch, the better the offers are likely to be.

3. See how much you could save

We’ll contact you to let you know what the top offers are. It’s up to you if you decide to accept the offer and switch to the new tariff.

You’ll be told exactly how much you could save before you agree to switch your tariff and you are under no obligation to switch. If you do decide to go ahead we’ll contact your current supplier and the new supplier, to make sure it all goes smoothly.

Acting collectively ensures a safe and easy switch if you do decide to accept the offer and help and advice will be available to you along the way, if you need it.
